Reviews:
“At the time of its release, it seemed that the main significance of this album was to introduce the fine solo skills of alto and tenor saxophonist Ted Nash. However Nash, while having a respectable career, never did become a major star or stylist. Drummer Louie Bellson's fine straightahead quintet also features trumpeter Blue Mitchell, pianist Ross Tompkins and bassist Joel DiBartolo on a program consisting of two basic originals, five standards (including "Raincheck" and "Oleo") and a three-song ballad medley.” AllMusic Review by Scott Yanow
